Methuen Mayor James Jajuga announced Monday that long-time elected city officials Joyce Campagnone and Robert Vogler will be the co-grand marshalls of the 2019 Methuen Santa Parade, to take place Nov. 23 at 1 p.m.
Campagnone has served for decades on both the City Council and the School Committee, among many other volunteer posts — including her extensive work and advocacy for the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW).
Vogler is retiring from School Committee service spanning 45 years that began in 1974.
According to the city website, the parade starts on Pelham Street at Park and Ride turns left on to Lowell Street, right onto Hampshire Street, then crosses over Broadway to Charles Street.
From there, the parade goes down Charles Street to Pleasant Street with a right onto Pleasant View Street, ultimately ending at Nicholson Stadium.
The parade will start at exactly 1 p.m. Pelham Street will be shut down from Barker to Heavenly Donuts starting at 12:15 p.m.
