She has been a fixture in the Methuen community for decades, serving both on the School Committee and on City Council. Joyce Campagnone cruised to an easy victory in her first test as a member of the newly-rezoned City Council Central District in 2017, but two years later, she finds herself in a four-way battle for two seats.
Campagnone has been an outspoken advocate for seniors and veterans, and has fought to toe the line on civility on the Council. She found herself in the middle of a number of battles she never imagined she’d be part of with the police and school financial issues.
Now, Campagnone makes her case to the voters in our interview recorded Nov. 1.
